Seth Godin is one of my favorite thinkers and authors.  I've read most of his books and have had the honor of interviewing him twice (for two of his books). 

In a recent interview Mel Robbins did with Seth he says we need to be able to answer two important questions:

What is it for?

Here are my answers:

• Light2Give is for teachers who want their students to experience STEM education in a way that engages both the mind and the heart. 

• Light2Give is for teachers who want their students to develop empathy, to care about the people in their community who are living in a difficult situation.

• Light2Give is for teachers who want to connect classroom learning while addressing a real challenge faced by real people in their community. 

• Light2Give is for teachers who want their students to experience bringing more light into the world, both physically and metaphorically. 

• Light2Give is for teachers who want their students to explore this question: 

What is the light (the gift/s) that I have to share with the world?
