Our handheld solar lantern has been tested (on the streets) and approved by a team of professional social workers at Homeward Bound which is based in Asheville, North Carolina. Their mission is to prevent and end homelessness in the city and county through permanent housing and support. 

Our solar lantern has also been reviewed and approved by a team of K12 classroom teachers. The teachers looked at our solar lantern through the lens of "classroom management". All of the teachers thought our solar lantern kit would be an effective teaching tool and one they could easily see their students assembling in one 42 minute class period.
